SMALLER by David Williams

Online performance for Melbourne Fringe, 23-28 November 2020

ABOUT

SMALLER is a new solo performance by David Williams.

SMALLER is a performance about small things. A show about chance. About things too small to be seen. About family. About history. About biology. About destiny.

A young boy is diagnosed with a rare genetic abnormality – a micro duplication and micro abnormality – a micro duplication and micro deletion of one part of one chromosome. This abnormality is of unknown origin and of “uncertain clinical significance”.

A man writes a genetic watch list – things to monitor as he enters middle age.

Hemochromatosis. Glaucoma. Gout. Heart disease. A rare genetic rejection of the anti-malarial drug Primaquin.

Small things.

This is a show about small things.

This is a show about biology and destiny.
